Our marketing team spent October 15th-17th in Los Angeles at the Adobe MAX creative conference. Adobe MAX is the annual gathering of over 14,000 creative professionals that come together to learn about industry trends, get exposure to new products and technology, and kick-start their creativity. As one of the most inspiring creative conferences out there, our team was eager to attend for the fourth consecutive year. Here’s what they learned.

Work efficiently

Learning about the updates in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign has allowed me to streamline my design process and work quicker and more efficiently. Within just one week of Adobe MAX, I am working more collaboratively with the interior design team and producing artwork faster without sacrificing quality. Without a doubt, this is going to save our firm and clients both time and money.
— Joshua Francis, Graphic Designer

Produce better work

Seeing the work that people are able to produce with Adobe software was extremely inspiring. They had over 300 sessions, labs and workshops to choose from and I got hands on experience working in my favorite programs and learning new ones. I learned skills in mobile photography that will allow me to take beautiful photos at groundbreaking and ribbon cutting events; and I learned tips and tricks to create more captivating presentations that truly showcase the heart of our projects.

 Learn from experts

The MAX sessions and labs are led by some amazing people. They gave me professional tips for video and image editing that I was able to put to work immediately. Now, I can spend more time capturing amazing footage of our projects and less time editing.

The Adobe Max conference is a melting pot of creative professionals and an entire industry that supports that work. It’s always interesting to see how others are using the products to innovate in design. Not only can we more accurately emulate physical mediums in the digital space, now there are so many more ways to take those digital concepts to create tangible products. Cutting edge printing techniques such as large format, flat lay printing are especially exciting because they can take digital work and apply it to nearly any material in minutes- that’s huge, and means that designers are really only limited by their imagination.
— Kristen Rose, Director of Marketing and Communications

In a few weeks, the attendees will deliver a presentation to the rest of the team sharing the best practices they learned—that way our entire staff can benefit from their attendance at Adobe MAX.
