Wednesday, October 3rd, Ruhnau Clarke Architects hosted the Riverside Area Rape Crisis Center’s (RARCC) 3rd Annual Wine Fundraiser. The RARCC was founded in 1973 and serves as an invaluable resource to the community by aiding victims and families of sexual assault. At the fundraising event, guests were treated to wine tastings provided by La Bodega and hors d’oeuvres by Russo’s San Carlos catering.
“The RARCC is an organization near and dear to our hearts. Several of our team members, including myself, are actively involved in the organization’s mission through board membership and community outreach. Last night was an amazing opportunity to raise awareness for RARCC by bringing the community together in support of their efforts.”
This year’s fundraiser honored, Larry McAdara, Executive Director of RARCC, who will be retiring after 15 years of service. People from all over the Riverside area, including school and city officials, came to recognize Larry and pledge their support by donating to The Prevention Solution.
The Prevention Solution will use these funds towards educational outreach, school programs, and community presentations that will aid in the prevention of sexual assault.
